Privacy policy
TAHITI FADWATCH only collects the data needed to correspond with you. This site uses no advertising cookies, no trackers and no analytics tools.
What we collect, and why
- Contact form — your name, email address and message, so we can reply. The message reaches the association's mailbox through our provider Brevo. We keep such correspondence for as long as your request requires.
- Newsletter — your email address only, after you explicitly confirm it (double opt-in). It is stored with Brevo until you unsubscribe, which takes one click from any message we send.
- Membership and donations — these take place on HelloAsso, which collects the details you enter and handles payment under its own privacy policy. The membership and donation forms may open in a window on our site: they are still served by HelloAsso, are loaded only when you show intent to join or donate (as soon as you hover over or activate the relevant button), and HelloAsso may then set its own cookies. HelloAsso passes on to us only the information needed to follow up your donation; we never receive payment details.
- Drifting FAD reports — the form is hosted on Survey123 as part of the scheme run by the institutions concerned.
- Bot protection — our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a human is submitting it without tracking you or asking you to solve a puzzle.
Technical logs
Our host, Cloudflare, records technical logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and reliability. We do not use them to identify you or to measure audience.
Transfers outside French Polynesia
Our providers — Cloudflare, Brevo, HelloAsso, and Google Workspace for email — process data from Europe and the United States. We chose them because they cover those transfers contractually.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and object to its processing, by writing to contact@tahitifadwatch.org. We reply within one month.
